David L. Fickle

David L. Fickle, 77, of Frankfort passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Mulberry Health & Retirement Community. He was born on March 27, 1937 in Frankfort to Lester Oke and Nancy Ruth (Allison) Fickle. He married Anjel L. Hurt on January 28, 1963 in Frankfort and she preceded him in death on January 15, 2011. David attended Frankfort schools. He served in the United States Navy and worked as a janitor at K-Mart. He also worked for Prairie Industries in Lebanon. Survivors include his Sons: Grover Fickle of Jefferson, Rick Houze of Frankfort, John Fickle of Frankfort, Steve Houze of Scircleville, David Houze of South Carolina, and Mark Houze of Frankfort; Daughters: Vicki Crick of Scircleville and Betty Fickle of Dayton; 23 Grandchildren; and 24 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Anjel, 3 brothers, and 1 sister. Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at Noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Scotland Cemetery.
