Esther L. Kesterson age 88 of Frankfort passed away May 27, 2009 in her home with her family at her side. Born February 5, 1921 in Rankin, Illinois to James & Edna (Sweet) Grove. She married Everett E. ?Red? Kesterson on December 7, 1943 in Frankfort and he preceded her in death September 22, 2007. She was a homemaker, attended Jefferson United Methodist Church, Women of the Moose, Fickle Friends Club, and Home Economics. Surviving are her children: Jimmie Kesterson (Elaine) of Lafayette, Michael Kesterson (Susan) of Ocean Springs, MS., and Robin E. Butler (Blaine) of Frankfort;6 grandchildren: Bryan, Brenda, B.Bryant Jr., Kimberly, Angela, and Erin;8 great grandchildren: Shay, Lane, Erika, Riley, Larissa, Shelby, Nikki, and Lauren. She will be sadly missed by friends and family especially her brother Dick Grove & wife Helen of Frankfort. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers. No calling or services are planned and burial will take place in Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Indiana State Police Alliance Memorial Fund 1415 Shelby Street Indianapolis, IN 46203. Arrangements entrusted to Archer-Weston Funeral Home.

    JIM AND ELAINE, JIM-SO SORRY TO READ OF YOUR MOTHER”S PASSING. I WORKED WITH HER SEVERAL YEARS AT KMART AND OVER THE YEARS SHE BECAME A GOOD FRIEND.
