Gary came from a great and loving family. Gary was always kind to everyone. After we both retired we were able to reunite again after 50 years. We spent the summer of 2017 fishing on Raccoon in Park County. I really looked forward going fishing with Gary. He also brought back great memories of our teenage years. Sometimes on the lake we would stop fishing and just float in the boat around the lake. He would tell me he loved and appreciated his wife, children and grandchildren. He would tell me how he greatly appreciated his brother, Phillip, for providing for him and his mother as they both were recovering from their family tragedy when he was in the fourth grade. Gary had a good heart. I deeply respected Gary for being a good and loyal friend. I will miss my childhood friend and fishing buddy
