Hannah Alene Swackhamer age 91 formerly of Frankfort passed away November 8, 2007 in the Greensburg Hospital in Greensburg, Indiana where she had resided the past 2 1/2 years.? Born August 15, 1916 to Benjamin Spencer and Hallie Lavee Bennett Michael.? She graduated from Jackson High School and resided most of her life in Clinton County.? She was employed as a bookkeeper for various businesses, including Hoosier Stationers, Laverty&’s and Freedman&’s.? She married Morris Swackhamer and they resided and farmed in Jackson Township until his health forced them to retire and move into Frankfort.? He preceded her in death in May of 1985.? She was also preceded in death by a brother, Benson Michael, and a sister: Elnora Michael.? Survivors include several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.? A graveside service with burial of her cremains will take place 1 PM Sunday, May 25, 2008 at Buntin Cemetery.? Arrangements are entrusted to Archer-Weston Funeral Home.
