Helen L. Earp, age 87 of Milner Community Healthcare in Rossville passed away January 7, 2008 at the facility. Born January 28, 1920 in Frankfort, Indiana to Clarence A. & Mary E. (Hallick) Potts. She was a switchboard operator and then a supervisor with Indiana Bell retiring in 1985 after 35 years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Rossville American Legion Auxiliary, Indiana Bell Pioneers, and was a Boy Scout Troop Leader for over 20 years serving several troops but was especially involved in the New Market, Indiana Troop. She lived in the Crawfordsville and New Market areas for several years before moving back to Frankfort. She was married to Raymond “Roscoe” Schrontz, Donald J. Warren, and Omer “Jack” Earp and all preceded her in death. Surviving are 3 sons: Robert R. Schrontz (wife Charlotte) of Rossville, Ronald A. Warren (wife Rebecca) of Lafayette, and Rolland K. Warren (wife Margaret) of Lexanna, Kansas. 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by a brother. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Archer-Weston Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery. Friends may call after 9 AM until time of services Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials appreciated to the New Market Boy Scouts of America Troop.?
