Janet L. Lawler

Janet L. Lawler, 55, of Kirklin, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in her home.

She was born on November 18, 1962 in Frankfort to John E. and Linda Lou (Heaton) Arnold.  She attended Frankfort High School and was self-employed, running a day care for 10 years.  She had also worked for Sonoco-Crellin, Zachary, and The Tech Group in Frankfort. She married Jeff Galvin and they later divorced.  On May 24, 1991, she married David Lawler and he survives.   She was a member of the Kirklin Assembly of God.  She enjoyed crocheting, reading, attending festivals, and she loved caring for her grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in Janet’s honor to the Kirklin Assembly of God with envelopes available at the funeral home.

Visitation and Services

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 12, 2018 at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort.  Friends may visit from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the funeral home.  Pastor Jeremy Turner will officiate.  Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Kirklin.

Surviving along with her Husband: David Lawler are her Daughters:  Lisa (Chad) Boone & Shyanna (Richard) Sallee both of Frankfort;  Son:  Eric Galvin of Frankfort;  Brothers:  Randy Arnold of Kokomo & Ronald Arnold of Frankfort;  Sister:  Judy Akers of Frankfort;  Grandchildren:  Kaleb Boone, Conner Boone, Brady Boone, Ella Buzan, Avaleigh Sallee, Rylan Sallee, Nathan Chester, Maizie Galvin, and Wayne Galvin.  Several Nieces & Nephews also survive.

Preceded by:

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother:  Larry Arnold.

    I grew up with her and her brothers and her sisters Lorraine and Judy.We all went to Woodside school.She worked with my husband and I. She will be missed.Prayers go go to her family.

    To the Lawler family my deepest thoughts are with u. Janet was a wonderful woman full of love and compassion for her family. Janet was a angel to me when I had my wreck if it wasn’t for her I’d probably not be here. She was behind me and came running up and talked with me to keep me going I was proud to have none her. We all no she is walking in a better place then we are now and u will all meet with her one day again . Eric bub Billy and I are here for u hun if u need anything at all we are a phone call away.
