Jo Elaine Thompson, 69, of Frankfort, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Milner Community Health Care in Rossville.
She was born on March 22, 1947 in Clinton County to Donald & Elva (Brumbarger) Kelly. She is a 1965 graduate of Clinton Prairie High School and attended IU Kokomo. She married William Thompson in Frankfort on June 13, 1965 and he survives. She worked as a Data Entry Specialist for Union Bank & First National Bank both in Kokomo retiring in 1993. She also worked for Shoup’s Country Foods for 12 years. Jo was a member of First Baptist Church in Frankfort and was Trustee of the church for 3 terms. She loved to cook for church events and helped establish the food bank there. She loved to crochet.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jo’s honor to the Clinton County Cancer Fund with envelopes available at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center or First Baptist Church.
Visitation and Services
A Celebration of Life service will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Frankfort. Pastor Chuck Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Whiteman Cemetery at a later date.

Surviving along with her Husband: Bill of Frankfort are her Son: David Scott Thompson (Betty) of Canton, TX; Daughter-in-law: Andrea Thompson of Tipton; Sister: Rose Ellen Schrock (Jack) of Forest; Sister-in-law: Anita Pierce of Lafayette; 4 Grandchildren; 3 Step-Grandchildren; & 1 Great-Grandchild.
