Marilyn Ross

Marilyn S. (Wainscott) Ross, 77, of Frankfort passed away March 23, 2012 at Seton Specialty Hospital, Lafayette. She was born February 12, 1935 in Frankfort to Cleon and Ida Vay Wainscott. She married Marvin C. “Pete” Ross in May of 1971 in Frankfort and he preceded her in death on October 6, 2003. Mrs. Ross was a lifelong Clinton County resident. She graduated from Frankfort High School in 1955 and she retired from Mallory Controls in 1997 after many years of service. She was a member of Kilmore Methodist Church. Survivors include one daughter: Melissa (Nicholas) Carey of Frankfort and 3 Granddaughters: Daniella Guajardo, Gabriella Guajardo, and Lane Carey all of Frankfort. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Services will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Archer-Weston Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Shan Sheridan officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Kilmore Cemetery in Kilmore.

    Melissa and grils, I’m so sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother. She and Pete were neighbors up the road at Kilmore. I enjoyed visiting with her and Pete when we would see each other. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
