Mary Francese Matz, 80, of Frankfort passed away May 16, 2011 at Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette. She was born January 27, 1931 in Kokomo, Indiana to Wayne Lowell and Helen (Shade) Seaver. She married Lowell D. Matz on November 24, 1949 in South Bend, IN and he preceded her in death on July 7, 2000.;Mrs. Matz graduated from high school in South Bend in 1949 and was a homemaker and former owner of The Island, The Combo, and El Rancho.;Survivors include 2 Sons: Rockie W. Matz and Harry B. Matz (Wife: Debbie) both of Frankfort, 1 Sister: Sue Steele (Husband: Richard) of New Carlisle, IN, 2 Grandchildren: Benjamin Matthew and Shawn Michael, and 4 Great-Grandchildren.;She was preceded in death by her husband and a 2 sisters: Nancy Kenney and Joanne Hensler.;Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Bunnell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at Archer-Weston Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial Donations be made to Clinton County Cancer Fund with envelopes available at the funeral home.
