Facebook Twitter GoogleDear John, George, Anne, Bill and Terri,
How saddened I am to hear of the passing of your dear mother. How often I have thought about those long ago childhood years living across from one another in National Homes. Going together to St. Mary’s Catholic school, exploring the wondorous and fascinating engineering experiments your father was always working on, and playing at the little park. And always your mother was a neighborhood presence often with treats, always with kindnesses. I will forever be grateful to her for helping to save my life in fifth grade by explaining to my parents that the severe abdominal pains I was experiencing was likely due to appendicitis. Thank you Mrs. Davey. May you rest in peace.
Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God , pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen
Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord, and may Perpetual Light shine upon her.
May her soul and souls of all the faithful departed find Light happiness and peace.
Amen

I often thought her lovely smile was a reflection of the beautiful soul within. I am so sad to hear of her death. It is my sincere prayer that God will hold you all close through this time of sorrow. To her brother, sister, children and grandchildren, I reach out in sympathy and love. As she herself often ended messages and letters, “God bless you.”
