Facebook Twitter GoogleMy heart is broken. Pete was one of a kind to work with. He always talked about you Cheryl and the kids and grandkids. He made me laugh and loved to give me a hard time. I will always remember the fun times we had when I would work and how he would just start singing! Fly High Pete you are no longer in pain! We will take it from here! Catch a big one up in Heaven.

So sorry for your loss, my heart aches for you and believe me I know the heart ache you are going thru. I said last night that now Neil and Pete are singing together again! They both enjoyed singing so much and will always remember Pete saying Neil’s social security number only had 3 digits because he was so old! We have to hang on to those wonderful memories. Prayers for all with love.

Facebook Twitter GoogleI didn’t get to know Pete like my co-workers have because I’ve been with the BCSO Communications only 3 1/2 months, and I have worked only one full shift with him but it was the most enjoyable I must say; he made me laugh and I knew at that point I was fortunate to be on the same team with him. And in passing at shift change he made a special point to wish me a good day every time before he left. My time with him was unfortunately way too brief and I’m sure I missed out on learning much from him in my future with the department. He will always have a special place in my heart and at the console with me.

Facebook Twitter GooglePete’s voice had a comforting tone. He helped me through one of the hardest days of my life and I’m thankful that he was on the other end of the line to get me through it. He was always good for a laugh on the phone or radio. I will miss him deeply. Rest easy my friend, you will always be in my thoughts.

Facebook Twitter GoogleI wish to express my condolences to Pete’s family and friends knowing that words can never take away the pain of such loss. I was a classmate and friend of Steve’s, and if you were a friend of Steve’s you had to like Pete, too. It was a package deal, two brothers, both sadly taken too early. Through the pages of Facebook we are able to reacquaint with long-ago friends who are now adults—but both Steve and Pete never lost the sense of humor and self-awareness that they had when we were kids. Good young men, good grown men, good people. My thoughts and prayers are for their family and I smile knowing the brothers are together again.
