Rosalie Watkins

Rosalie Watkins 85, of Frankfort, Ind., passed away at 10:05 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Wesley Manor in Frankfort, IN.  She was born on September 16, 1930 in Clinton County, IN to Mont Daris & Lela Lucille (Ellis) Allen.  Her first marriage was to William Goodwin.  She later married Harold A. “Zeke” Watkins and he preceded her in death on June 13, 1985.  Rosalie was a lifelong homemaker.  She was a member of the New Life Assembly of God in Frankfort.

 

Visitation and Services

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Archer-Weston Funeral and Cremation Center. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park in Frankfort.

Survived by:

2 Sons: Terry E. (Lois) Goodwin of Frankfort, James Watkins of Colfax, 1 Daughter: Donna Sue Eimen of Frankfort, 1 Sister: Sue J. Harrison of Panama City, Fla., 8 Grandchildren, 2 Step Granddaughters, 15 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.

Preceded by:

a brother, Richard C. Allen.

    I’m sorry for your loss. Rosie was a sweet and loved by a lot of people. When I was younger she was always there for me and both of my kids.Just sorry that I let a stupid little problem stop me from keeping in touch with her. When I did see her , she always asked about my kids by name. Rest in peace Rosie you have earned it. Sending prayers to all of her family. Love Connie,Bryon, and Kelli

    Sorry to hear about the passing of Rosie, I was her house lady at one time. She was a very sweet person and a dear friend to Dorotha Aronald. Please except my condolences in her passing.
