Sammie E. “Sam” Seals, 79, of Frankfort passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014. He was born on July 29, 1935 in Ewing Virginia to Henry & Polly Seals. He married Patti Phillips on February 7, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio and they divorced after 42 years of marriage.;Sam lived in Ewing, Virginia for 23 years where he attended Thomas Walker High School. He then moved to Dayton, Ohio until 1964 when he moved to Frankfort. He was owner of Sam’s Used Furniture for 20 years. He was known around Frankfort as “The Appliance Guy” and he enjoyed attending auctions and loved spending time with his family and grandkids.;Survivors include his Son: Mitch Seals of Frankfort, Daughters: Barbara (Gary) Sellers of Frankfort, Robin Seals of Mulberry, and Gina (Bill) Heidt of Frankfort, Brother: Claude Seals of Ewing, VA, Sisters: Gladys Roy of Ewing, VA and Ruth Clouse of Ewing, VA, Grandchildren: D.J. Sellers, Ashley Martinez, Beau Seals, Amy Pitzer, Megan Pitzer, Blake Seals, Dylan Seals, and William Heidt, and Great-Grandchildren: Jalynn, River, Hunter, and Reese. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and a granddaughter: Lacy Sellers.;A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Bunnell Cemetery. Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center is honored to assist the family with arrangements. Memorial donations may be made in Sam’s honor to the Clinton County Cancer Fund.
