Sharon Kay Walls, 69, of Kirklin passed away July 23, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born November 2, 1942 in Lebanon to Norman J. and Chloe M. (Stowers) Snell. She married Bennie L. Jones in 1959 in Clinton County and they later divorced. She then married Roscoe “Rocky” Walls on February 24, 1973 in Battleground and he preceded her in death on September 27, 2008. Sharon attended Kirklin High School and was a Homemaker. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. She attended First Baptist Church in Frankfort and enjoyed bible study there. Her hobbies included spending time with family, traveling, and camping. Survivors include: 2 Sons: Tim (Peggy) Jones of Westfield and Randy (Barbara) Walls of Lafayette; 1 Brother; 3 Sisters; 9 Grandchildren: Chelsey, Patrick, Gregory, Anastashia, Sydney, Jonathon, Jacob, Chloe, and Taylor; 3 Great-Grandchildren: Oakley, Shelby, and Logan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers, and 1 sister. Services will be held at Noon on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Archer-Weston Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Chuck Williams will officiate. Burial will be Monday, July 30, 2012 at 1 p.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery in Kirklin. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Cancer Fund with envelopes available at the funeral home.
