Steve Eugene Davenport age 46 of Frankfort passed away September 15, 2008 at Home Hospital in Lafayette.? Born February 26, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio to William E. and Billie G. (Norfleet) Davenport.? He worked in production at various factories in the Frankfort area during his life.? He was an avid Nascar race fan and sports enthusiast who loved the outdoors and fishing.? He married Debra Crick on February 8, 1997 and they later divorced.? Surviving him are his longtime companion and ex wife who stood by him throughout his illness Debra Crick of Frankfort, a niece and nephew: Charna Shelley (Jon) of Colfax, and R.J. Davenport of Lafayette, a great niece: Kaylynn, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.? He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Richard.? Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday September 20, 2008 at Archer-Weston Funeral Home.? Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.? Friends may call 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.? Memorials appreciated to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.? ?
