it is with great sorrow that we write this, tom and his family have been dear friends for many yrs. tom was a great friend who would go out of his way to be a help, he loved Cheyenne his daughter more than life itself , the two of them took great pleasure in their many trips to raccoon lake and other destinations to fish, hunt, camp, but mainly to just enjoy being together , several weeks before toms passing I had the privilege of praying with tom,its so good to know for certain that our dear friend accepted the free gift of salvation and awaits us in heaven, tom is enjoying the beauty and splendor of heaven, no longer in pain, but running up and down the streets of gold with his loved ones and enjoying fellowship with our lord and savior Jesus Christ, have a ball tom we will meet you over yonder some sweet day! your friends, paul & kim barnes , and the entire barnes family.

So very sorry for your loss. Tom was a great man and had a heart as big as all outdoors. We were friends for many years, and had many adventures, but Tom could always see his way through all things with honor and respect.

Cheyenne, I knew your dad long before you were born. He was one super guy. I was on the board of the Humane Society when he was at the old and new shelter. He was so caring and gentle. When you were born he was so excited and proud. I was at Clinton Prairie when you began school. Again, he was one proud papa. I’m so glad you got to spend time with him at Racoon. He was an avid outdoorsman and lived life to it’s fullest, enjoying his time with you the most of all. I was shocked to read of his passing. Rest in peace, dear Tom.
