Anjel L. Fickle age 75 of Frankfort passed away at 6:10 a.m. January 15, 2011 at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community. Born February 10, 1935 in Summer Shade, KY to Clayton Hurt and Ruby (Bartley) Hurt Pettit. She was a graduate of Frankfort Senior High School. Mrs. Fickle was a homemaker and loved to cook. She married David L. Fickle on January 28, 1963 in Frankfort and he survives. Also surviving are 6 sons: Grover Fickle of Jefferson, Rick Houze of Frankfort, John Fickle of Kentucky, Steve Houze of Scircleville, David Houze of South Carolina, and Mark Houze of Frankfort, 2 daughters: Vicki Crick of Scircleville and Betty Fickle of Crawfordsville, 2 sisters: Virginia Laughner of Michigantown and Martha Mangus of Frankfort, 23 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Grover Hurt and a sister Anna Lee Crail. Services will be 12 Noon Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Archer-Weston Funeral Home. Friends may call 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Scotland Cemetery.
