Anna Mae Trent Belcher

Anna Mae Trent Belcher, 91, recently of Florida and a former Frankfort resident died March 19, 2023 in Zephyrhills, FL.  She was born May 30, 1931 in Colfax, Ind. to Glen & Nellie (Alexander) Lashbrook.  She married Robert Cecil Trent on April 3, 1970 and he preceded her in death on September 4, 1998.  She then married Robert Belcher on May 8, 2014 and he survives.

Anna Mae was a 1950 graduate of Kirklin High School.  She was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Frankfort.  She had volunteered as a Pink Lady for the Clinton County Hospital and for the Salvation Army.  She loved giving her time helping others.  Anna Mae’s family was very important to her.  She was a talented piano player and enjoyed singing, traveling and staying active.  She will be remembered as a wonderful cook, a gift she passed on to her daughters.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. April 8, 2023 at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 E. Clinton St., Frankfort. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Donations may be made to Salvation Army.

Husband: Robert Belcher of Florida, 3 Daughters: Judy (Bob) Abrell of Warrensville, IL, Joyce (Mike) Dellinger of Zephyrhills, FL, Janet (Mike) Hall of Frankfort, Sister: Wilma Hall of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, Brother: Raymond (Mary) Lashbrook of Florida, 2 Sisters-in-Law: Marjory Lashbrook of Colfax, Geneva Lashbrook of Frankfort, 6 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Eugene, Paul, Charles, Harold and Richard Lashbrook and sisters, Maxine Campbell and Irene Watts, as well as an infant granddaughter, Shauna Hall

    I am very sad to hear of Anna’s passing. Yet, I rejoice with her that she is now safe in the arms of Jesus. I enjoyed knowing her while she lived here in Wesleyan Village. We had lots of good times together.
