Brenda R. “Benna” Brown, 55, of Frankfort, Indiana passed away peacefully in her home on April 13, 2011. Born on April 10, 1956 in Frankfort to Robert and Joanne (Gleason) Shaw.;She married William Brown on February 10, 1981 in Tippecanoe County and he survives.;Mrs. Brown attended school in Frankfort and Indianapolis and was a housewife. She was also a TPA Park Matron for several years. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family.;Surviving along with her husband are 1 Son: William J. (Amy) Brown of Cutler, 1 Daughter: Nikisha A. Jacobs of Frankfort, Step-father: Jim Reconnu of Frankfort, 2 Grandchildren: Greyson and Willow Jacobs of Frankfort, 4 Brothers: Richard Mahoney of Frankfort, Buddy (Sandy) Ward of Frankfort, Brian Shaw of Frankfort, Robert L. (Lori) Shaw of Indianapolis, 4 Sisters: Starr Lowery of Frankfort, Wanda (Darrell) Birge of Frankfort, Dolores (Jerry) Greulich of Colorado, Marquita “Markie” McCracken (Companion Jim Reed) of Rossville, 2 Brothers-in-law: Pat Brown (Companion Dawn Meadows) of Colfax, Michael Cooper (Companion Stephanie) of Frankfort, 1 Sister-in-law: Kim (Mike) Riggs of Frankfort, 6 nieces, 9 nephews, 7 great-nieces, and 5 great-nephews.;She was preceded in death by her parents, Mother-in-law: Mary Cooper, Sisters: Tammy Houze and Jody Horton, Sister-in-law: Glenda Perry, 2 Brothers-in-law: Randy Brown and Donald Randall, 1 Grandchild, 1 Niece, and 1 Nephew.;Services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Archer-Weston Funeral Home. Visitation will be from Noon until time of service. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Guardian Angel Hospice with envelopes available at the funeral home.
