Dane Edward Ramey, 51, of Frankfort, passed away January 4, 2022 in his home.  He was born on November 18, 1970 in Lebanon to Theresa Marie (Boice) Ramey and the late Michael D. Ramey.

A lifelong Frankfort resident, Dane attended Frankfort Schools and later earned his GED.  He was a self-employed computer technician and scrapped metal.  He enjoyed online gaming, fishing, hunting, and being outdoors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dane’s honor to the Clinton County Humane Society, P.O. Box 455, Frankfort, IN  46041.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be held 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort. 

Survived by:

Surviving along with his mother: Theresa are his Daughter: Therinda Wood of Merrillville; Son: Tyler Ramey of Lafayette; Brother: Travis Bishop; Sisters: Monica Zook, Melissa Malone, Ashley Ramey, and Amanda Simmons; Uncles: John (Janet) Boice and Jon Boice; 6 Grandchildren; 4 Nephews, 2 Nieces, along with several cousins and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father.

    My thoughts are with you and your family at this most heart breaking time but know even though he lost the battle here on earth he has won the same battle in heaven.Now he is not going to be alone,for he is with the family of Jesus Christ our lord.Be consoled for he will always be blessed and waiting to see you all again when the time comes God blessed him and has him so blessed is he.Amen

    Dane is free. Free in heaven talking and laughing with grandma Lucas and grandma Ham and Gene. Him and Jesus will keep track of you and smile on you and the entire family.

    No mother should have bury their child. My heart and prayers go to you Theresa.
    Dane gave me my most, precious gift my daughter Therinda. And she gave Dane and I , 6 grandchildren. Thank you for sharing him with all of us. Sending very heartfelt prayers to you all.

    I will miss you Bub. We really had a good run and I never thought you would go before me. YThrre was a time when you were my little brother.You will be missed. T, sorry I couldn`t attend the service, but I will stop by so we can catch up. You are in my thoughts. Your house was my home for a period and I will never forget it.
