Esther Mary Crocker age 97 of Frankfort and formerly of Brook passed away September 18, 2008 at Wesley Manor Healthcare Center in Frankfort.? Born March 5, 1911 in Napolean, Indiana to Theodore & Mina (Oetjen) Bodenberg.? She received her BS degree from Wittenberg University.? She married Rev. Floyd Joseph Crocker on September 3, 1942 and he preceded her in death October 26, 1963.? The Crocker&’s served churches in Thorntown, Romney, Jackson Heights, Remington, Idaville, and Burnettsville.? She was a teacher, church secretary and leader.? She was a member of the United Methodist Women, Retired Minister&’s Wives Association, Choirs, Music and Study Clubs.? Surviving are her children: Joe Crocker of Mt. Prospect, IL and Mary Ann McCammon of Virginia Beach, VA 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and a brother and sister: Fred Bodenberg of Aspers, PA and Naomi Fox of Yardley, PA? She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister Ruth.? Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM Saturday September 20, 2008 at Wesley Manor Amanda Reid Chapel.? Friends may call one hour prior to services at the chapel.? Burial with a graveside service at 1 PM Sunday will take place at St. Johns Cemetery in Napolean, Indiana.?
