Thank you Cooper family. I remember how your parents along with Marilyn & Ed, Kay & Helen, and my Mom & Dad and others would have parties at each other’s houses. I think my dad was the last one of the gang. I know he sure missed your dad when he passed.

I met my great Uncle Frank in 2019 when he, his daughter, Janet and her husband, Ed drove down to Tennessee to meet me and nephews and nieces he didn’t know. We had a marvelous time, meeting other Joyce families and visiting grave sites of our ancestors. I regretted that we were unable to get together again. However, I am grateful that I had to opportunity to meet him.Thank you Uncle Frank for establishing our family line in the Joyce family tree. Your smile and humor is missed.

    • Janet Fisher May 21, 2022 at 2:27 pm

Thank you so much, Rosemary. My dad enjoyed meeting you and the rest of the Joyce clan. He didn’t hesitate at all when asked by you to do the DNA testing for the Joyce lineage. I am so grateful we were able to make that trip and had time with him and my Joyce cousins.

Hello, Janet, Tom, and Jeff. I am so sorry for the loss of your father, Frank. Or as I knew him, Mr. Joyce. We had a lot of fun growing up in Fickle. I have many fond memories of being raised there. As I live near Madison, IN now, I’m not sure I can make it for either service, I will try. If you do not see me, I will be with you in thought and prayer. Lean on one another, share memories laugh and cry. I hope you all are well.

    • Janet Fisher May 21, 2022 at 2:37 pm

Thank you so much Stacey. I didn’t know you were living near Madison. We went to Madison in September of 2020 on a camping trip. Ed and I are doing well. I always enjoyed going over to your house and spent a lot of time talking to your mom. I am glad we were neighbors with you and your family.
