Freida Alberta Chandler, 85, of Frankfort passed away December 27, 2012 at Milner Community Healthcare in Rossville. She was born May 5, 1927 in Frankfort to Forrest B. and Lorena F. (Frazier) Moore. She married Floyd Chandler on December 24, 1945 in Frankfort and he preceded her in death in August 1996.;Freida graduated from Frankfort High School in 1945. She retired from Marsh Supermarket in Frankfort after 23 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Frankfort for over 60 years. She was also a member of the Moose ladies auxiliary and the American Legion auxiliary. She enjoyed being outdoors and being around people, especially at Marsh.;Survivors include 2 daughters: Lynn (Thomas) Moore of Castle Rock, CO and Gelia (Bill) Smith of Frankfort, Son: Larry (Melissa) Chandler of Cicero, IN, Brothers: Kenneth Moore and John Moore both of Frankfort, 11 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren.;She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Keith and Robert Moore.;Services will be held at 10:30 Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Archer-Weston Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 2. Pastor Chuck Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort.

I know how you all feel I lost my mother 9 years ago, and it was hard for me to let my mother leave me. But just remember your mother and how she loved all her family.
