Linda, Gordon, Grayden, Cassidy, Alex, and Kaise,
My sincere condolences goes out to you and your family during this difficult time. My heart breaks for you all and I can’t even imagine what you are all going through. I’ll always treasure my YMCA summer day camp days working with Grant. He was a very sweet and genuinely nice young man. I’ve also gotten to know his son Alex over the last three years while teaching at Blue Ridge and he is such a remarkable young man!! His knowledge of dinosaurs is so amazing!! I remember when his kdg teacher was on maternity leave and I took over and he was reading a dinosaur book to me and I would try to pronounce the name of one of the dinosaurs and he would read it with no trouble at all!! I was just amazed!! Every time I see Alex I will now think of Grant and how blessed he was to have these two little boys. Grant will live on forever inside of your grandsons and you all. You will all continue to be in my thoughts and prayers today and in the difficult days ahead. Please lean on God, your family, friends, and each other during these difficult days. You all need each other. Sending you all hugs and love.
