Harold Lee Knox

Harold Lee Knox, 83, of Frankfort, passed away February 15, 2023 in his daughter’s home.  He was born on April 12, 1939 in Colfax, Indiana to Delbert Knox and Pearl (Bowen) Knox Banta.

Harold attended Colfax High School and worked for 35 years for Plastine Corp. in Crawfordsville, retiring in 2003.  He had volunteered with the Colfax volunteer fire department. Harold was a collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia and enjoyed watching sports, especially NASCAR and the Cubs.

Memorial donations may be made in Harold’s honor to the Clinton County Humane Society, P.O. Box 455, Frankfort, IN  46041.

Visitation and Services

Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Plainview Cemetery in Colfax. Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort is honored to assist the Knox family.

Surviving are his Daughter: Debra “Debi” (Eric) Swank of Frankfort; Son: Terry Knox of Avon Park, Florida; Brother: Gerald (Donna) Knox of Lafayette; Half-Brother: Delbert Knox Jr. of New Market, Indiana; 3 Grandchildren: Christy, Abby, and Joshua; 5 Great-Grandchildren; Former Wives: Diane Ostler of Florida and Betty Knox of Lafayette; and Betty’s Children: Beth, Missy, and Larry “Butch”.  

Preceded by:

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Frank Knox, and step-father: Charlie Banta, and companion: Lilly Osborne.
