I remember your parents fondly from our time at Hobbs United Methodist Church. They were fun loving, active and faithful members. I was not aware of your mother’s death until today. I was serving in Liberia as a missionary at that time. Know that they are at peace and are well; physically, mentally and spiritually. Be blessed as you carry their memory.
    Peace and joy,

My mother was at Prairie Lakes Health Center same time Jack was there. He found out she was from Frankfort and they talked many times about Frankfort. Their conversations made her stay there easier and she enjoyed talking to Jack. I still remember tears in Jack’s eyes as they played each military song during a show at Prairie Lakes. I will miss visiting with him. My condolences. Mike Burns Noblesville

    To the family of Jack,
Bob and I moved two houses away from Jack and Marge in 1985. Between us was Barbara Monk. Bob’s first remembrance was your mother, ringing our back door, and bringing us a basket of strawberries, when we moved in. Our children played between Jack and Marge, Barbara (who had a basketball goal for all of us), our yard, and Judy Lewis – our neighbor.
Jack would tell us about the tornado that took our neighborhood while he was in the hospital. He was so proud that the chimney he had built was still standing, when he got home to where our houses had stood.
We were backyard neighbors, sharing stories, kids, and garden information. Two trees planted in our back yard are from Jack.
For your mother to become so sick, she couldn’t have had any husband to love her more than Jack. He was also so proud of your kids and grandkids. I’m sure Walmart would not exist if it wasn’t for one of you who worked for the Walmart Corporation.
We never know where life will take us. We understand, from personal experience, your real loss of Jack a few years ago. May God bless and comfort you in this goodbyes you will share today.
    Sincerely,

Everything I have seen, causes me to trust my creator for what I haven’t yet seen!
Marjorie and Jack took my mom and me along to places we otherwise might not have visited. They gave us vacations when I was a kid so that my horizons were expanded to include majestic scenes and cities beyond Kilmore and Frankfort. Through Jacks influence I learned to enjoy golf and how to see highlighlights and shadows in works of art. Knowing him and appreciating his care for my wonderful sister who he loved with devotion taught me many life lessons. We were ALL blessed to learn something from him. He taught “how to do” before hgtv and always had another story. Because of Jack Dave learned more golf than he might have otherwise!
Jack & Marj together each gave so much to our many families.
Heaven is a busier place now.
They were well loved throughout their lifetimes!
We love YOU Sharon and Julia. You made your parents so proud. The best of them lives through you!
Much Love. Aunt Linda & Uncle Dave
