Judith Ann Reconnu age 65 of Frankfort went home to be with the Lord October 21, 2010 in her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Born October 11, 1945 in Salem, Ohio to Omar A. & Beulah Geraldine (Spencer) Leggett. She graduated from Westfield High School. She worked as a Dietary cook for several years, her last place of employment being Homewood Health Center in Lebanon for six years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and crocheting. She married James E. Reconnu on July 3, 1998 in Frankfort and he survives, as does her 4 sisters: Joyce Givens of Kokomo, Beverly Moore (Marlin) of Arcadia, Barbara Muller (Peter) of Tipton, and Janet Malanoski (Rick) of Ninevah. Her 5 children: Thomas, Timothy, Robert, Kimberly, and Tammy Sue and 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 6-7 PM Monday October 25, 2010 at Archer-Weston Funeral Home where a memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 7 PM. Memorials appreciated to Clinton County Cancer Society

    I had the pleasure of working with Judy at Homewood in Lebanon. I was there when she got sick and could no longer work. She was a very nice lady and I will remember her as such. I am very sorry for your loss but I am glad that she is no longer suffering.
