Leone Clair Lappin, 74, of Frankfort passed away June 12, 2012 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC. She was born on April 1, 1938 in Bismarck, ND to Clayton and Myrtle (Buck) McMullen. She married Ron Lappin on February 28, 1964 at the First Baptist Church in Frankfort and he survives.;Mrs. Lappin was a 1956 graduate of Frankfort High School and graduated from the School of Dental Assistants and X-Ray Techs in Indianapolis. She was a dental assistant in Clinton County for 30 years. Leone was a member of the Baptist church and loved reading, gardening and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.;Surviving along with her husband are 2 Sons: Todd Lappin of Indianapolis and Jeff Lappin (Traci) of Kokomo, 2 Daughters: Marianne Parks (Don) of Greensboro, NC and Carol Chaney (Jeff) of Frankfort, 2 Sisters: Judy Fleming of Hilton Head Island, SC and Euna Mae Eyer of Okatie, SC and 5 Grandchildren: Courtney Torrence, Kohner Lappin, Hudson Lappin, Olivia Chaney, and Brandon Parks.;She was preceded in death by her parents.;Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2012 at Archer-Weston Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Visitation will be from 11 until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation of Indianapolis and the American Diabetes Association with envelopes available at the funeral home.
