Marsha Carol Blackburn, 70, of Lafayette, passed away December 8, 2021 at Franciscan Health Lafayette East.  She was born on March 22, 1951.  She married Kenny Blackburn in 1970 and he survives.

Marsha was a housekeeper at West Minster Village in Lafayette.  She enjoyed listening to music, especially Garth Brooks and loved her Yorkies.

 

 

Visitation and Services

No service are planned.  Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort, is honored to assist the Blackburn family. 

Survived by:

Surviving along with her husband: Kenny are her Son: Kenny Blackburn; Sister: Celia Graham; and Brother: Tom Stavrose.  

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by her parents.

    Mom,I can’t believe you are gone. I am still hurting inside. I love you so very much and you will always be in my ❤️ heart. There will never be a day that I won’t ever forget you. I want to thank God that he made you my mother, because there is no one else I rather have then you. I know you are in heaven,far better than where we are now. This isn’t goodbye, I will meet you again down the road. I love you Mom😢

    You always made me feel loved.
    I will always treasure the memories of us visiting at your house, playing with the boys and laughing about funny stories. I wish we had more time together on earth.
    I hope Buddy and I make you proud every day.
    I miss you and love you.
