Marty L. Richter, 51, of Frankfort passed away at 9:15 a.m. Monday, January 6, 2014 at Parkwood Signature Healthcare in Lebanon, Indiana. He was born on February 4, 1962 in Frankfort to William & Gloria Jean (McKinzie) McCoy. Marty had previously worked at Michaels Construction and Stillwell Monuments in Frankfort. He also ran his own sandblasting business. He was a lifelong Frankfort resident and a 1980 graduate of Frankfort High School. An avid Colts, Nascar and Elvis fan, he enjoyed collecting Coca Cola memorabilia. He is survived by his longtime companion: Kim Cochran of Frankfort; 1 Daughter: Jessica Eason of Florida; 2 Brothers: Bill “Bub” Richter of Frankfort and Jack Richter of Indianapolis; and 1 Grandson: Tanner Eason. In addition to his Mother, he was preceded in death by William Richter who adopted and raised him. No funeral services will be held. The family asks that you “Celebrate his life as you wish, as he will be missed.” Archer-Weston Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Dear Kim and Family, Sorry to hear about the passing of Marty. He had style, was a great dancer and was one of the “cool” guys in school. I got the pleasure of dancing with him at the class reunion in 2005. Maybe he can teach Elvis a few moves in Heaven!
