Priscilla D. “Prissy” Coomer, 90, of Frankfort passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Clinton House Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born on May 15, 1924 in Frankfort to Carl and Lucy (Shaff) Prickett. She married William G. Coomer in Frankfort and he preceded her in death on December 22, 1965. Priscilla attended Frankfort schools and worked for the National Cigar Factory in Frankfort for 30 years. She also washed dishes and made salads at the Frankfort Moose Lodge for 6 years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose.

Visitation and Services

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, Frankfort, IN. Friends may visit from 12 Noon until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery.

Survivors include her Daughter: Dorothy D. Ridge (Companion: Roy Lee) of Hillisburg; Brother: Phillip R. (Sharon) Prickett of Frankfort; 7 Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren; and 7 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, 3 brothers, and a sister.
