Robert P. Gibson, 84, of Frankfort passed away May 5, 2013 at Parkview Home in Frankfort. He was born June 28, 1928 in Monticello, KY to George P. and Vela Ella (Goldsberry) Gibson.;Robert moved to Clarks Hill in 1961 and was a life long farmer. He was a member of the Old Oxford Church in Mulberry and enjoyed fishing, singing, and gardening.;Survivors include children: Barbara (Archie) Bayless of Hope Hull, AL, Joan Goode (Companion Phil French) of Lebanon, Robbie (Joy) Gibson of Delphi, Sandy Gibson (Companion Teddy Dean) of Frankfort, Alan (Jackie) Gibson of Frankfort, Larry (Sharon) Gibson of Jefferson, Leland (Dorothy) Gibson of Frankfort, and Darryle (Deanna) Gibson of Flora, 31 Grandchildren, 52 Great-Grandchildren, 5 Great Great-Grandchildren, and Several Nieces and Nephews;He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, 3 children, 3 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.;Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Parkview Home, 1501 Burlington Avenue, Frankfort. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Archer-Weston Funeral Home and 9:30 until the time of service on Wednesday at the Parkview Home. Rev. Alan Moody will officiate. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort. Memorial donations may be made to Parkview Home with envelopes available at the funeral home.
