Sharon L. Smith, 74, of Michigantown passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 in her home. She was born on September 24, 1939 in Ft. Wayne to Ed & Lillian (Kanatzer) Koehl. She married Paul W. Smith in Angola 44 years ago and he survives. She had lived in Kendleville for 26 years and in Clinton County for 4 years. Sharon earned her GED through the Frankfort School System. She worked for many factories in the Angola area. She loved horses, playing Bingo, puzzle books, and traveling the country in the RV with her husband. Surviving along with her husband, Paul are her Sons: William Lewis of Wisconsin and David (Terri) Darling of Palestine, TX; Daughter: Amanda Smith of Angola; Brother: Howard (Nancy) Koehl of Lafayette; 6 Grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great-Grandchild; and Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister: Judith Shaw. Friends and family may visit Tuesday, January 28, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Archer-Weston Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Shan Sheridan will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made in Sharon’s memory to Guardian Angel Hospice with envelopes available at the funeral home.

    So sorry for your loss, Sharon and my husband Russ Cunningham were cousins and they use to call each other kissing cousins.The first time I got to meet her she came up and gave Russ a big kiss. She was a very sweet lady and will be missed
