Thomas A. Wright, 72, of Frankfort, passed away October 23, 2020 in his home.  He was born on November 7, 1947 in Frankfort to Bernard and Norma (East) Wright.  He married Wanda Parker in 2001 in Las Vegas and she survives.

Tom attended Clinton Prairie Schools and earned his GED in 1969.  He was in the United States Army from November 1967 to August 1972 serving in Vietnam.  While serving, he earned 2 Silver Stars, a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.  He was a self-employed truck driver for 30 years and served as a special deputy with the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department.  Tom loved racing sprint cars.

Memorial donations may be made in Tom’s honor to Clinton County Humane Society, 825 Izaak Walton Drive, Frankfort, IN  46041.

Visitation and Services

In accordance with Tom’s wishes, there will be no services held.  Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center and Clinton County Crematory, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort are honored to assist the Wright family.

He is survived by his wife: Wanda.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

    Tom and his sense of humor will be missed. He truly.loved my aunt and his cars. May he rest in peace with the Lord, and may those left behind fill their hearts with joyful memories during this difficult time.

    Wanda~~I am sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. I became acquainted with him as the receptionist at the Sherrif’s Office. He was always pleasant and polite. I enjoyed our chats. As you adjust to his physical absence, I pray you will be aware of the strength and comfort God will provide.

    Tom was a friend of mine. I was very proud to have had him as a friend. He was a true hero and like the hero he was very humble and never bragged about what he had done. Rest in peace you deserve it!

    Very sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. He was a good man. Smart and funny. Always enjoyed seeing him at the car shows. He’ll be missed. Wishing you all the strength during this time Wanda.
