So sorry to hear about the passing of Greg’s Dad. What a great life he had. I never met him but after I read his obituary, I think he was a member of The Greatest Generation after serving his country and participating in the Battle of the Bulge.

    • Greg Boots May 1, 2016 at 2:50 pm

      Hi Linda,

Thank you for taking the time and your kind thoughts. For his last 23 years he loved to fish and thankfully he lived for 23 years after retirement so he could live to fish. His generation was a Great Generation. They lived through a lot and paved the way for us today to enjoy many of the freedoms too many of us take for granted.

      Thank You Linda

    Heather and family,
So sorry to hear of your loved ones passing. I did not know your loved one, but certainly know many of the family dealing with this sad loss. I know how hard it is losing a Dad/grandparent. Remember Wayne with fond memories. Share, weep a bit, smile and laugh, but most of all remember how blessed you were to have been part of his life.
    Sincerely.

    Greg,

I am sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. Although it’s been many years, I still have fond memories of him supporting all of our Little League games while we were growing up. He helped me learn of the love between a father and a son. For that I am grateful.

      Hi Pat,

Wow, over 45 years ago you are talking about! I do remember those days fondly. In fact, just was looking at some of those pictures this week and seeing us in our Moose uniforms. Glad that it was a positive experience for you and one that seems to have meant so much to you. I am grateful that you shared it with me. Thank you very much for your kind words and reaching out after all these years.

I hope all is well with you!
