Ann Ellen Day age 91 a resident of Parkwood Healthcare in Lebanon and formerly of Darlington passed away October 16, 2009. She was born February 7, 1918 in Kokomo, Indiana the daughter of James & Cassie (Hill) Lockridge. She spent most of her life working in retail sales. She was a member of the Darlington Christian Church and Women?s Naomi Fellowship at the church, and Darlington Home Extension Club. She was preceded in death by 2 husbands, John Carter and Bud Day, and 2 sons: Dave Carter and James E. Day. Surviving her is a daughter: Ramona Brooks of Clearwater, FL and 6 grandchildren: Pat Anderson of Darlington, Terry Orberson of Kokomo, David Carter of Noblesville, Bill Brooks, Tina Brooks, and Jamie Brooks all of Florida.;6 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Family graveside services will be held at 3 PM Tuesday October 20, 2009 at Summit Lawn Cemetery in Westfield, Indiana. No calling is planned. Arrangements entrusted to Archer-Weston Funeral Home in Frankfort.
