Facebook Twitter GoogleDear Jim and Joe. I am sorry for the loss of your mother. I remember that she drove Joe all the way across town so Joe could be in my first grade class at Woodside. She made many trips back and forth. I also remember her bringing you, Joe, to my house so we could work together some evenings. I especially remember one evening when you were leaving and my mother came home after grocery shopping. She was driving that little car (the Volkswagon Beetle) and lifted up the hood to get the groceries. You were so surprised to see the groceries and not the motor. You said, “What happened to the motor?” Joe, it was so cute!!!!!
I liked your mom!!!
Sincerely,
Vicki Griggs

I was so very sorry to hear that your mom has passed. I have all good memories of you, Joe, as a classmate at Southside Elementary and Frankfort High School. Your mom was so kind! She was also a special friend to my mom, Lois Fishback. Your mom actually came to our mom’s 90th birthday celebration back in December 2019. They talked the night away. It was so awesome. My mom passed in November 2022. My prayers are with you and the family as I know the journey of pain you are bearing from losing such a precious loved one unexpectedly.
