Barbara Sue Schocke, 79, of Frankfort, passed away December 2, 2022 at IU Health Frankfort Hospital.  She was born on May 29, 1943 in Marion County, Kentucky to William Rudolph and Naomi (Washburn) Cheatham.

Barbara was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed playing bingo and always enjoyed a margarita from Pepe’s.

Memorial donations may be made in Barbara’s honor to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 681405, Indianapolis, IN 46268.

Visitation and Services

In accordance with Barbara’s wishes, there will be no services held.  Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center and Clinton County Crematory, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort are honored to assist Ms. Schocke’s family.  

Survived by:

Surviving are her Daughters: Cathy (Jeffery) Hurless of Frankfort and Tonya (Scott) Nielsen of Alabama; 7 Grandchildren: Chris, David, Jordan, Nathan, Keshia, Hannah, and Rachel; 7 Great-Grandchildren: Brayden, Zac, Elaina, Grace, Emily, McKenzie, and Nathan; and 10 Siblings.  

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Jo Sharon Owens, and 2 siblings.

    My aunt Susie was a beautiful and fun loving lady always the lady and she deserves the world and sadly did not receive it in the end it really was a blessing in my life and a wonderful and dear friend to my mother and I thank her always and forever and love her always and forever she’s been a good friend to me since I was about 12 years old I love you aunt Susie rest in peace now you deserve it
