Christeen Taylor, 84, of Frankfort, Ind., passed away June 1, 2024 at IU Health Arnett Hospital. She was born on June 28, 1939 in Rose Hill, Virginia to Robert and Lillie (Northcutt) Bales. She married Loyd Taylor on August 31, 1959 and he preceded her in death on November 30, 2003.
Christeen attended Thomas Walker High School in Ewing, Virginia. She worked for Peter Paul and the Lighthouse Inn Motel, both in Frankfort. She enjoyed square dancing, loved gardening and being outdoors, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Memorial donations may be made in Christeen’s honor to the Clinton County Cancer Fund, 241 South Broadway Street, Frankfort, IN 46041.
Visitation and Services
Friends may visit 4-7 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday June 7, 2024 the funeral home. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery, Frankfort.

Surviving are her Sister: Gladys Taylor of Frankfort along with many Nieces and Nephews, Great-Nieces and Nephews, and Great-Great-Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded by:
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters: Barbara Bales and Mary Denham and brothers: Patton Bales and Grover Bales.
So sorry to hear of Christeen’s passing.
She was always smiling and kind. This sweet lady will be missed by everyone.
