Joe Brown Raidt, 85, of Frankfort and formerly of Indianapolis, passed away October 15, 2021 at Clinton House Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.  He was born on July 8, 1936 in Hanover, Ind. To Harold A. and Myrtle (Hawes) Raidt.

Joe was a graduate of Short Ridge High School in Indianapolis and graduated from Purdue University.  He served in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1960.  He retired in 1998 as a Mechanical Engineer for Pullman Standard and a Self-Employed Consultant. He was a member of Unity Church, Central Indiana Artists, and the New Orleans Bridge Club.

Memorial donations may be made in Joe’s honor to the Salvation Army of Clinton County, 300 West Washington Street, Frankfort, IN  46041.

Visitation and Services

In accordance with Joe’s wishes, there will be no services.  Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center and Clinton County Crematory, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort are honored to assist Mr. Raidt’s family. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Frankfort. 

Survived by:

Lovingly known as J.B. to his Nephew/Caregiver: Jim (Margie) Strode of Frankfort and his Niece: Sandra (Marty) Bailey of Madison.  

Preceded by:

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Joyce Birch.

    We will miss our dear Joe at art class. He was a delight and his absence will be sorely missed. Prayers to your family as you mourn your loss.
