Facebook Twitter GoogleZenaida – Words can’t express what I’m feeling right now. Lou and I have been the best of friends since graduating from high school in 1959. I could write a book on all the adventures we shared over these 65 years. Lou introduced me to my late wife. We were together for over 50 years when she passed from cancer in 2014. Lou and Zenaida were great support when I lost my 44 year old daughter from cancer in 2009. I guess, now, it’s my turn to show my support to his wonderful wife Zenaida. I honestly don’t know how she was able to take care of Lou’s needs in their home as she did. Lou is now in a better place than that he has had to endure for so long. God Bless the two of you.

Facebook Twitter GoogleI am so sorry to hear of Louis passing. We never knew each other growing up. I thought he was still in Lafayette, and only knew of his side of the family from stories. When I heard he was in Frankfort, I had to connect with my “long lost down the line cousin.” I was so glad to have connected with him the past 15 years or so. I really enjoyed talking with him about our family and the past over coffee at McDonalds. Zenaida, thank you for bringing him in the past couple times so we could talk some more as his health declined. If you or anyone else in the family ever want to talk, please give me a call. I surely will miss him. I pray for peace and comfort for you and the whole family.

Facebook Twitter GoogleTo Zenaida all of Lou’s family: I was saddened to learn of Lou’s passing from a friend of his on Aug 9th. I’ll miss his sense of humor and his laugh. He had a huge heart who cared so much about others. I met Lou in Frankfort goodwill where we both enjoyed shopping. I’ll never forget when Lou, Zenaida and I hit 7 Goodwill stores in Indy, buying lots of stuff that we really didn’t need but it was a blast with Lou driving us around. His driving was an adventure too. We survived that day. All of you will be in my prayers and I’m so sorry about our beloved Lou!!
