Mary Ann Kaylor, 86, of Frankfort, passed away July 31, 2024 in her daughter’s home surrounded by family. She was born on April 6, 1938 in Indianapolis, to Frank Cecil and Evelyn Maxine (Brumbarger) Camp. She married James M. Kaylor on June 2, 1957 at the Eastside Christian Church in Frankfort and he preceded her in death on July 13, 2017.
Mary was a 1956 graduate of Frankfort Senior High School. She was a homemaker and MOM for the majority of her girl’s growing up years and had worked as a legal secretary for Robison, Robison, Bergum, and Johnson Attorneys at Law for 11 years. After working at the law office, she worked for the Community Schools of Frankfort in the Kyger Elementary Cafeteria. Mary was a member of Manson Congregational Christian Church. Her other memberships included the Order of Eastern Star #6 and a past member of the Gold Ladies. Mary volunteered as a Pink Lady at the Hospital in Frankfort and was a tutor at Manson Church after school program. Mary always said she “basked in the glow of her girls” and cherished time spent with them and their families. Her grandchildren, and in later years her great-grandchildren, were her greatest joys.
Memorial donations may be made in Mary’s honor to the Clinton County Humane Society.

Facebook Twitter GoogleGirls! I’m so sorry for your tremendous loss. Memories flood back of all the shenanigans on Clinton St. She and your father taught me all the things “Girl Scout”….how to make and cook on a bunsen burner, how to make a sit-up-on, and all the survival tips I would need for living as a Native American in a teepee. Just a sweet sweet soul. All my love -Angie (Salem) Robinson
