Paul R. Ballard, 67, of Frankfort, Ind., passed away July 15, 2023 at Witham Health Services in Lebanon, Ind. He was born on September 21, 1955 in Indianapolis to Calvin M. and Joan (Watson) Ballard. He married Jean E. Peak on October 23, 1982 in Sevierville, TN and they later divorced. Paul married Melody Draper on November 18, 2003 in Las Vegas, and she survives.
Paul was a lifelong Clinton County resident and a 1973 graduate of Clinton Central High School. He was a truck driver for Turner Trucking, worked for McKinney Home Restoration, and was a self-employed painter. Paul enjoyed camping and raising birds on his farm. He coached youth baseball and umpired Little League baseball for 15 years – he loved teaching kids. His biggest love was family and their dog, Chica.
Visitation and Services
A Celebration of Paul’s Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at the Kirklin Park. Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center and Clinton County Crematory, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort are honored to assist Mr. Ballard’s family.

Surviving along with his Wife: Melody are his Sons: Daniel (Tasha) Ballard of Lebanon and Charles (Jadaha) Ballard of Lebanon; Bonus Daughter: Mallory Draper; Grandchildren: Cloe Ballard of Lebanon, Kiarra Ballard of Lebanon, Benjamin Eli Ballard of Lebanon, Anthem Walker, and Syniah Walker; Great-Grandchildren: Asher and Bexley Gregor; Sister: Tammi (David) Anzalone of Cedar Creek, NE.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant son: Jamie Ballard.
