Ronnie “Ron” L. Bray, 69, of Frankfort, passed away January 24, 2023 in his home. He was born on June 3, 1953 in Clinton County to Leo J. and Leona E. (Smith) Bray.
Ron attended Clinton Central High School and earned his GED in 1970. He served in the United States National Guard from 1975 to 1981. He was a truck driver for Frito Lay in Frankfort for 22 years, retiring in 2008. Ron was a member of the NRA, enjoyed working on old cars and trucks, and loved riding his Harley. He will always be remembered by his willingness to lend a helping hand.
Memorial donations may be made in Ron’s honor to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Visitation and Services
A Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort. Friends may visit from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Surviving are his 2 Daughters: Melissa Lynn (Frankie) Smith and April Dawn Williams both of Frankfort; 2 Special Men he had the pleasure of raising: Kyle (Chelsea) Smith of Tipton and Mitchell (Tiffany) Ward of Frankfort; Siblings: Larry (Denise) Bray of Frankfort, Brenda (Mark) Johannsen of Lafayette, Belinda (Bobby) Miller of Lafayette, Bobby (Donna) Bray of Kirklin, and Wayne Bray of Frankfort; Sister-in-law: Dawn Bray of Frankfort; 4 Grandchildren; and 12 Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ferris and Garry, and sisters: Bonnie Chester and Barbara Shelley, brothers-in-law: Bill Shelley and Robert Chester, sisters-in-law: Delores Bray, Debbie Perrine, and Pam Shelley, and his great-grandson: Isaiah.
