Stanley Lee Younger

Stanley Lee Younger, 73, of Frankfort, passed away January 2, 2022 at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.  He was born on February 19, 1948 in Clinton County to Jesse Lee and Charity Ann (Huffer) Younger.  He had previously been married to Mari Jean Ottinger.

Stan was a 1966 graduate of Frankfort Senior High School.  He had worked for Piemonte Foods, Mallory Controls, and retired from Donaldson Co. all in Frankfort.  Stan was a Cubs fan, enjoyed estate sales, garage sales, craft shows, anything Christmas related, flowers, and trains, but most of all loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

 

 

Visitation and Services

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2022 at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort.  Friends may visit from Noon until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.  The family asks that masks be worn for services.  Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery.

Surviving are his Daughters: Nicole Brock (Mike), Angie (Dorval) Howe, and Shasta Younger (Matt) all of Frankfort; Grandchildren: Sierra (Rusty) Hensley, Shania Brock, Skyler Brock, Jimmy Wessell IV, Richard Brown, Haden Heavilon, and Blake Heavilon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Marcia Younger, and grandson: Keith Cameron Smith.

    Stan was such a friendly, nice guy & my mother & I often saw him with his father Jess at the garage sales. Please accept my condolences upon his death. My mother really liked Jess & Stan. : )

    The FSHS Class of 1966 is saddened to learn of the passing of our dear classmate and friend! Our sincere sympathies to Stan’s family. He was loved by his classmates! We will miss him!

    I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many great memories from childhood and as adults at family Thanksgiving and Christmas times. Stan was such a sweet and kind person and would help anyone. He will be missed. I am really sad to lose my cousin.

    i played volleyball with your dad he loved playing sports besides volleyball i knew from your and him talked about him playing racquet ball

    We saw Stan at our last class reunion and he really had not changed much from our high school days. We are sad to learn of his passing and hope his family will cherish their memories of him as we do. Our prayers are with you.

    Stan was a good friend to those he considered a friend .He was my friend .I worked many yrs at Donaldson with him as he also worked for me ,couldn’t tell the difference. He never changed had a lot of laughs with him.After retirement we conected then covid set in .he was on my mind past couple weeks was going to call him so we could get together be for winter set in . Prayers to the family he talked so much about. I will miss you dear friend Cathy Abstoni
