Thelma L. Winter, 87, of Frankfort, passed away May 18, 2022 at Clinton House Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She was born on January 14, 1935 in Austin, IN to Richard C. and Zita (Taylor) Potts. She married Raymond F. Winter Sr. on April 19, 1952 in Scottsburg, IN and he preceded her in death on March 18, 1977.
Thelma attended Crothersville High School and worked as a Private Duty Caregiver for the Adrian Marks family and a CNA at Wesley Manor, retiring in 2003. She attended Church Alive in Lafayette and was a member of the Frankfort Eagles Aerie #976 and the American Legion Post #12 Auxiliary. She enjoyed dancing, karaoke, gardening, sewing, and was the family hairdresser.

Visitation and Services
A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort. Friends may visit 12 Noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Bunnell Cemetery.

Surviving are her Children: Shelby Branstetter of Lafayette, Mary Wiebers of Lafayette, Martha Aders (Companion: John) of Frankfort, Linda Walker of Frankfort, Raymond (Suzanne) Winter Jr. of Flora, David (Barbara) Winter of Frankfort, Wesley (Wilma) Winter of Frankfort, Vincent Winter of Frankfort, and Joshua Winter of Kokomo along with 18 Grandchildren and Several Great and Great-Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, 2 brothers, 5 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
So sorry for your loss to the family grand kids her sons and daughter in laws and her daughters and son in laws it’s a hard thing to go through but GOD is there with you I’m praying for you all to get them this Raymond’s Suzie friend mike Welcher
