Alice Pearl Wright 87, of Frankfort, IN, died at 4:55 a.m. December 15, 2013 at I.U. Simon Cancer Center, Indianapolis, IN. Born August 15, 1926 in Frankfort to the late Elmer & Maude (Edrington) Zwyers. She married Gilbert “Gib” Wright on March 25, 1951 in Tell City and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2007. Mrs. Wright was a 1946 graduate of Frankfort High School and a lifelong Frankfort resident. A homemaker, she also worked at National Cigar Factory and was an operator for Indiana Bell. She attended the First Christian Church. Alice enjoyed spending time with family, helping others, traveling, word searches and playing cards. She is survived by a son, Ed (Tracy) Wright of rural Frankfort, a daughter, Tina (Jeff) Laughner of rural Frankfort, brother, William “Bill” (Betty) Zwyers of Middlefork, 2 grandsons, Eddie Wright II of Phoenix, AZ, Shawn (Kaycie) Laughner of Lafayette, 2 granddaughters, Shalece Laughner of Frankfort and Shalena (Blake) Hunter of Indianapolis, 7 Great Grandchildren, a nephew, William Edwin Zwyers of Thorntown and a niece Sue Zwyers of Lafayette.
