Carolyn S. Parsons, 72, of Frankfort, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Witham Health Services in Lebanon, IN surrounded by her family. She was born on February 2, 1946 to James “Red” Winget and the late Viola (Gant) Winget. She married Monte D. “Donnie” Parsons on December 25, 1964 and he survives. Carolyn was a lifelong Frankfort resident and graduated from Frankfort High School in 1964. She worked for many years at Akard’s Gas Stations and had formerly worked for Zachary Confections and Wilderness Trailer. She enjoyed puzzles, crossword puzzles, and talking with people.
Memorial donations may be made in Carolyn’s honor to the Clinton County Cancer Fund with envelopes available at the funeral home.
Visitation and Services
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held 3-5 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort. Pastor Daniel Helm will conclude with words of encouragement. The family will gather 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. at the Frankfort Neighborhood Center for fellowship before visiting at the funeral home.

Surviving along with her husband and father are her Children: Jeff Parsons, Crystal Parsons, Lisa Powell (Companion: Ted Campbell), Lee Ann Parsons, and Eric Parsons; Siblings: Sandra (Paul) Reddix, James (Kathy) Winget, Linda Bell, Mary Richards, and John Winget; 12 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
