Facebook Twitter GoogleI’m so sorry to hear this terrible news. Cathy was my first secretary when I started working at the Keil Building in 1984. She helped me to see what a wonderful place Decatur and the public schools were. I’ll always remember her laugh and her pride in her family.

Facebook Twitter GoogleI was devastated to learn about Cathy. I had no idea that she was even ill. A friend e-mailed me about her. She was such a fun and wonderful friend. I’ve been trying to get in touch with her since I’ve been in California, but, had not heard from her. When I learned that she was in La Jolla, it made it even harder, as I only live 45 miles from there!! I always felt that Cathy and I had a special bond through church as well as work. I loved how much Bob and the boys meant to her. She expressed nothing but love and praise about each of you. Every time I have seen a Purdue game, I smile and think of Cathy, as she was always such a great fan, and we made bets!! I was watching the Purdue/Wisconsin game today when I learned about Cathy.. and had been thinking about her at that time. I’m sure she had a twinkle in her eye, a smile on her face, and had a hand in that upset! She was be sorely missed, and I send my love to each and every one of you!! Much love, Eve
