I’m sorry to hear that Don has passed. He was a great person and made many prop projects for my photography studio over the years. David worked with him as a carpenter for a few years and they told many stories of their shenanigans. I always admired Don and Joan. Rest in Peace Don. Prayers for the family.

I am truly sorry to hear about the passing of Don, the world truly lost one of the best, a gentle giant that had a heart as big he was! always a kind word and he and your mom were a very special part of my early days of archer-weston, always willing to help and assist with whatever was needed, they were so special to me and our business. Don’s physical absence will be difficult and a great void left in your lives, but I can only imagine that great big smile on Joanie’s face …. I am betting she was playing just that special tune as he entered through that golden gate. My prayers and virtual hugs with all of you during this difficult time. Arch

Facebook Twitter GoogleLove, prayers and sincere condolences to Alice and all the rest of Don’s family. Even tho my brother’s classmate and lifelong friend, Wayne and I also considered him a true friend and never passed up an opportunity to visit with him (and Jo) whenever we had a chance. I think we both seemed to enjoy the same restaurants. A good man, he will be missed by all who knew him. Treasure your memories and hold them dear.

Facebook Twitter GoogleTo the Gilmore Family,
One can read the condolences on this page and know what type of person Don was. I have known Don since I was a child growing up in the New Hope Church family. In recent years when Don served as president of the Clinton Co. Contractual Public Library, I, employee of Library, served as treasurer on the Board. Don worked hard and always consider the needs and thoughts of the people of Clinton County. He knew he was representing the Clinton County taxpayers. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
